Exciting opportunity to join our Finance team as a Management Accountant in the London head office with the flexibility of hybrid working. Your duties will include preparing financial and management information to support strategic decision-making. This role offers the chance to be involved in international operations whilst working closely with various departments across the business. You will be working within a professional yet supportive environment with collaborative team members who are dedicated, passionate, and committed to excellence.
Key Duties Include:•Prepare timely and accurate monthly consolidated management accounts in compliance with corporate and external reporting deadlines
•Lead the management account production for our US and Italian subsidiaries
•Act as the primary point of contact for our lender
•Preparing monthly journals such as fixed assets, prepayments, and accruals
•Assist with VAT returns across multiple tax jurisdictions, including the UK, Germany, Netherlands, France, Italy, and Ireland
•Provide support on tax and audit matters
•Supervise and mentor an Accounts Assistant
•Deliver ad hoc reporting and commercial analysis as required
The Ideal Candidate:
• Degree-educated
•Desire to begin or continue ACCA/CIMA studies
•Minimum three years experience working within a Finance department in an accountancy role
•Energetic, enthusiastic, proactive with a positive attitude
•Comfortable working both autonomously and within a team
•Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels
•Highly numerate with exceptional attention to detail
