Moodboard: Grass green

This moodboard's autumnal shades glow in our Margaretta flowered linen fabric, that forms a rich base - as well as a charcoal grey paint that can add depth to a room. Grey not black or graphite is the neutral choice here. The right grey is vital to establish the tone you want in the overall scheme.

With a room filled with light, a sharp accent of colour in the form of curtains or cushion in the same shade are your vivid tones in a richly tonal scheme. Leaving you space to explore with textures and additional hues.

In a cold north-facing room one could easily increase warmer tones of damson or warm russet for richness; or pick up a cool inky blue-green with our Apatite or Japanese Ink paint shades. Colour drenching would work equally well here - from walls to woodwork to your ceiling. Paint it all! If a little hesitant - go a few shades lighter on the ceiling.
