We believe a stylish sofa is at the heart of any home and we love how every single one of our pieces is always different! Discover how international designers have used our fabrics to create their own unique look.

Design Theme: Modern New
"Because of its light and almost floating expression, I have chosen the Cosmopolitain two seater sofa. The main fabric on the sofa is Mattiazzo Cobalt, this fabric makes me think of spring it is like a cluster of flowers that sparkles with life and surprises. For the seat cushion I have chosen Rothesay Violet, this deep colour binds the sofa together and creates calm, but it also invites reflection and immersion. For a soft and organic finish I have chosen walnut legs. "

Design Theme: Sophisticated
"We have chosen the Joseph sofa, the classic form with dark oak legs. This sofa allows space for more than three to four people, especially with the smart open extension. Our inspiration is from the 50ths “Magic City” Hotel in Miami. The fabric that we have chosen for the frame of the sofa is Pavia Dove, this fabric feels like a bunny’s fur and we absolutely love it. The back cushions have been covered in Latticino Natural, a retro cool pattern.”

Design Theme: New Modern
"I have chosen the Quadro Wide Chair to show off the shape of this furniture piece as I have had great success with the loose cover option as a sofa. The Brera Lino in Azalea is a fantastic pop of colour for the Spring Summer season and I have teamed it with Palissy Grande for a wonderful floral story.
I love the new design of the Paris sofa. I have chosen Canvas and Lustro to upholster the sofa. This will allow my clients to see how you can experiment with printed fabrics on furniture."

Design Theme: New Modern
"We have chosen the Paris Chair, it is a new design in the collection and felt it was a great mix of traditional modern. Our Clifton showroom is a perfect showcase for the Paris Style. Inspired by the display at the Designers Guild Showroom, we have chosen Reticello cobalt to cover the chair. We love the vibrant colour and the velvet texture, the whole look and feel of the piece is a contemporary modern twist. We believe that it is a perfect show stopper for Spring Summer 2017."

Design Theme: Modern Country
“We chose the Paris Chair as it is a new design and we love the shape. We felt it would suit our client base. The spring florals designed by Designers Guild are part of a beautiful collection and to emphasise the modern country feel this piece ties in perfectly with the rich colours in our showroom in Dorset.”

Design Theme: Masculine Feminine
I love mixing masculine and feminine fabrics and patterns. The Maison Designers Guild has always given me the opportunity to do so, thanks to the wide range of Designers Guild and their other brand fabrics. I was heart-struck with the wallpaper ‘Folie’ and it inspired me to collaborate ‘Frida Santa’, ‘Brera Lino’ and ‘Reticello’ on a Hayward sofa.
As for the Julep chair, I love the femininity of ‘Latticino’ and I have added raw linen ‘Brera’ to add contrast, to finish, a touch of sweetness with the ‘Zaffera’ print.

Design Theme : Romance, Au Theatre ce soir
My inspiration is behind the story of Christian Lacroix’s Au Theatre ce soir collection. Combining Tumulte – Arlequin fabric by Christian Lacroix and the vibrant colour of Tricia Guild's Brera Lino - Azalea fabric creates a stage like performance where the leading lady sits in front of the Master of Milan. It is a bold, romantic yet contemporary piece.

Design Theme: Contemporary
What I love about Designers Guild is that they offer a variety of endless possibilities and combinations. Their fabric range can create the mood you desire and the complete look for any space/room setting. I have chosen a deep ochre which sits perfectly in my showroom, it is an eye catching and cheerful colour but I have also incorporated a neutral so that it is versatile in a home environment.
