FINISHED PRODUCT DEVELOPER

We have an exceptional and exciting opportunity within our Product Development Team for an experienced Home Accessories Product Developer. Working on a diverse range of homewares/finished products with a particular focus on floor rugs, woven throws and decorative cushions.

Proven experience in sourcing for textile home accessories to develop new and existing product areas will be essential for this role and the ideal candidate will already be buying and developing own branded label collections for a retail group or similar.

Applicants will possess a proven ability to work well within a small, dedicated product team and delivering to tight deadlines under pressure. Excellent numerical, communication, negotiation and presentation skills are essential for this role.

Junior Digital Designer

Location: Head Office, W10

We are looking for a talented Junior Digital Designer, with relevant home or fashion experience to join our flourishing e-commerce business. You will be someone who loves to work on challenging briefs and who always ensures that the customer is at the forefront of every design.


Key Responsibilities Include
• Designing emails, landing pages, social assets whilst maintaining a high standard of design and attention to detail translating the brand guidelines across all digital platforms.
• Creating engaging artwork for social channels.
• Work closely with the wider ecommerce content and marketing teams to create modern, customer-centric user journeys and digital experiences across all digital touch points.
• Translate the seasonal campaigns adhering to the brand guidelines across all digital platforms.
• Research new trends within design and digital and implement these onto design work.

About You
You will have a diligent and well organised work ethic, with excellent organisational and communication skills coupled with a high attention to detail. You are passionate about the online world and hitting targets!

Interiors Sales Consultant - Marylebone High Street

Location: Marylebone High Street, W1

We are looking for a dynamic, sales driven Sales Consultant to work at our beautiful Marylebone High Street store on a full-time basis (5 days per week comprising 40 hours).

Applicants must have relevant sales experience and a knowledge of and interest in soft furnishings. Experience of dealing with fabrics in a retail environment is an advantage. You will be expected to promote sales, advise customers on interior decoration and maintain the high standards required by the company. A keen interest in contemporary design and furniture is a bonus.

This role has an anticipated start date of late June

Work Experience - Head Office

Location: Latimer Place, London W10
Apply Before: 30th april 2019

We offer work experience in various departments throughout Designers Guild such as Creative, Product Development, Sales & Marketing, eCommerce, Press and Retail.

We usually accommodate placements of 1 or 2 weeks so that you will gain a valuable insight into how the company is run as a whole, through working within various areas. This is unpaid, although we offer a nominal amount to cover your travel expenses and lunch.

We are currently inviting applications for placements from mid May onwards.

Regrettably we are unable to accommodate students under the age of 18.
