We are looking for a talented Showroom Designer to work on a variety of projects as part of our Export Display Team.
Working closely with the Export Display Manager, you will design, install and style displays in our European and US showrooms; create a seasonal 'Get the Look' Manual and regulary update the Display Manual; work with the Project Co-ordinator to prepare schedules, specifications and cost estimates; source fixtures and product for special projects ' organise and arrange flowers at head office; assist in the production and presentation of the new collection at the bi-annual Sales Briefing Conference; update and maintain showroom at head office and produce a photographic printed and digital portfolio of Display work.
This is a busy, hands-on role that requires an interior design or styling background with a good eye for detail, creative flair and the ability to translate the Designers Guild look of the season into inspiring displays. You will need to work well unde pressure and have the ability to meet deadlines, be thorough and meticulous both when working individually and when part of the larger team. This role requires excellent CAD drawing skills and you should have a proven track record of using design packages including Vector Works, Indesign, Photoshop and Quark. Industry experience and familiarity with the Designers Guild lifestyle concept a plus.
